Rare Earth War By China
What is Rare Earth?
Don't think that Rare Earth are materials which are rarely or scarcely available on Earth.
Rare Earth Means Difficult to Extract from its Ore. Here Ore is referred as Earth. Rare refers to Difficulty.
What are the Products that are manufactured using Rare Earths?
Rare Earths are used in magnets, computer disk drives, components for hybrid cars and other high-tech products,Advanced alloys, special metals, steel making, nickel metal hydride battery; Automobile exhaust emission control catalyst, fluid cracking catalyst; Ceramic powder for engineer ceramic, ceramic composites, electronic ceramics, ceramic coatings, colorants; Glass colorants, stabilizers, UV absorbers, mirrors, cut crystal glass, TV screens, cathode ray tubes; Magnetics; Phosphors; Coatings, makeup, medicines
Which countries produce Rare Earths?
97% of world production comes from China.
Why all the Developed countries are NOW worried about these Rare Earths?
Lot of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies depend on Rare Earths. If enough supply is not there, then these countries economy will be in peril. For example, recently, there was a territorial dispute between china and japan following the arrest of a chinese fishing captain by japan. Immediately, china stopped the export of rare earths to japan and now the economy of japan is in troubled waters.
Why other countries are not producing rare earths?
Imagine a situation like this. You are producing an item and selling it for 100 dollars. Suddenly, another company sells the same item for just 5 dollars. What will be happen to you? You cannot reduce your selling price to 5 dollars. Because, for you the manufacturing cost itself is 95 dollars.
In the same way, actually USA, Australia and other countries were mining and producing Rare Earths. But, suddenly, in 1990, China found large deposits of rare earths and sold it at very cheap rates. Because of this, all other countries shut down their rare earth mines and started importing rare earths from china.
Anyway, rare earth ban is only to Japan. Why other countries are worried?
China will automatically extend this ban to USA and other developed countries citing some other reasons. So they are now thinking of reopening their old shutdown mines; and also trying exract rare earths from old used electronic goods.
Once again, china has proved it is the Controller of this world.

Final Solution to Kashmir
If you are an Indian, then answer the following 3 questions. You will get the solution to Kashmir problem.
Question No. 1 : Do Indians Need Kashmir?
Answer: The American people are dependent on oil from the Middle East, and that is the real reason for their control over the region. Indians have no such reason to retain control of Kashmir. So Indians dont need Kashmir
Question No. 2 : If Indian troops are out of Kashmir, would it jeopardise the security of Indians?
Answer : Not really. The mountainous barrier between the Kashmir Valley and India is a better defensive line than the existing Line Of Control.
Question No. 3. Whether the Kashmir people depend on India for their Protection?
Answer : No. Because the Kashmir people do not consider themselves as ‘Indians,' and wish all Indians to go to the devil.

Is Russia Dying?
Is Russia Dying?
Russia bans supplies of Russian tanks, fighter jets, helicopters, ships, heavy artillery systems and missiles, including the S-300 air defence systems, to Iran. Russia will also stop supplying spares and components for the weapons sold earlier, and ban the transit of arms bound for Iran through its territory.
Sceptics point out that Russia halted its defence ties with Iran once in the past also, in the vain hope of getting U.S. aid and investments.
The new ban on weapon sales to Iran will have dire consequences for Russia, critics say. Direct financial losses from the scrapping of the S-300 contract could exceed $1 billion. According to the Russian Centre for Analysis of World Arms Trade, Russia will lose at least $11 billion in weapon supplies to Iran through 2025. “Iran will never forgive Russia for this second sell-out in the past 15 years,” says defence expert Konstantin Makienko
Aviation industry sources said Iran had already stopped negotiations to acquire Russia's Tu-204SM passenger aircraft.
Geopolitical costs for Russia could be even higher. “The cancellation of the S-300 contract undermines its reputation as a reliable defence partner among its current and potential customers,” Mr. Makienko said. “China will only be too happy to fill the vacuum left by Russia.”
Moscow hopes a grateful Obama will lift the ban on high technology transfers to Russia. Time will tell whether these hopes are justified.

Faisal vs TimeSquare Bomb Plot
Faisal vs TimeSquare Bomb Plot
Faisal Shahzad (31), the Pakistan-born United States citizen charged with the Times Square bomb plot, has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
He also confessed to planning a second bombing two weeks after the Times Square attack. Media reports noted that Shahzad said he had acted alone out of anger about U.S. military action in Muslim countries and mistreatment of Muslims around the world.
During his trial Shahzad was said to have appeared “proud but defiant” in court and unapologetic for trying to kill as many Americans as he could. “The sentence does not mean anything to me,” he reportedly warned at the time, adding, “Brace yourself, because the war has just begun.”
